Our Story:
Region Lacrosse Was Founded As Mustang Lacrosse In 2016, With The Mission: "To Nurture Passion For Lacrosse By Providing Comprehensive Training And A Supportive Community By Ensuring Every Young Athlete Can Grow, Compete, And Excel Both On And Off The Field."
From 2016 To 2020, The Program Grew In Size By Building Partnerships With Munster, Highland, Lake Central And Other Surrounding Schools. During The Same Time, The Youth Program Had Signs Of Becoming Very Successful. However In 2020, The World Went Into Lockdown And Forced A Temporary Halt In Many Sports. Unfortunately The Youth Program Did Not Recover. However, Both The Boys And Girls High School Club Teams Successfully Restarted Post-Pandemic And Continued Their Success. The Boys Club Team Won The 2023 ISHLA Club Championship. In 2024, Girls High School Lacrosse Was Approved By ISHAA Into Its Emerging Sports Program For The 2025-26 Season.
Fast Forward To Early 2024 To Now. In An Effort To Restart Our Youth Program And Build On The High School Club Programs, The Board Set Out To Expand Its Mission To A Broader Area. The Board Approved A Name Change To Region Lacrosse.
